Awful, deceptive, and arrogant owners, as well as project managers. Subcontractors were generally decent people who at least tried to do a good job, but Gallagher made it impossible for them to get the right materials on site when necessary. A "three week" job has now gone on just days short of a year, and Gallagher finally just notified us that they can't/won't do the rest of the job to our satisfaction (we asked for them to at least meet industry-accepted workmanship standards for tiling, drywall work, and painting). These guys refused to use licensed plumbers and electricians despite the state and city building code requirements. They even refused to get permits (also required by law). Without permits and licensed plumber/electrician, my home-owners insurance wouldn't cover damages that might occur. Gallagher eventually did obtain the necessary permits and a licensed plumber, but we had to get our own licensed electrician to fix Gallagher's screw-ups. Substandard work, ridiculously excessive delays, and completely inexcusable behavior at a premium price! Go ANYWHERE ELSE unless you are a glutton for punishment!

They never paid me or any one in my crew for work we had done. We were told that if we continue to work and finish out a basement and bathroom remodel that we would then be paid when they get their last installment from home owner. That was weeks ago and still no money. They are a bunch of crooks. Don’t hire.
